Hi, I’m Lucy Starbuck - Chartered Accountant, Business Profit Coach, Human Design guide, and your new favourite financial sidekick.

For nearly 20 years, I followed the rules. I ticked the boxes.

Got the qualifications. Climbed the ladder. Landed the sexy job titles.

I worked across Big Four, global brands, high-growth companies - always being the steady, strategic one in the room.

I was the one who had it together......

But behind the polished career and “safe hands” reputation, I was completely burned out.

 I’d lost myself in a world that praised grind over growth and data over depth.


I remember sitting in boardrooms in designer heels, wondering how the hell something I was so good at could feel this disconnected.

So I got out.

I packed up the hustle, moved to Bondi, and started rebuilding my life. One long beach walk and sarcastic voice note at a time.


(Also: got a dog. His name’s Buddy. He’s the actual CFO.) 🐶

From there, I took a left turn into working with not-for-profits and purpose-driven businesses.


 I started helping real humans run better businesses - with clarity, confidence, and less cortisol.

But the real shift came when I discovered Human Design.

Suddenly, it all made sense.


Why corporate nearly broke me.


Why I needed freedom, fluidity, and creative control.


Why no amount of financial strategy could stick unless it was built around how I was actually designed to work. 🤩

That’s when I realised:
The finance world isn’t broken - it’s just outdated.


And women like us were never meant to squeeze into it.

So I created Designed for Profit - a place where feminine energy meets financial power, where we honour your natural rhythm and build your revenue.
